Hunter Vargas Fights for the Tuff-N-Uff Welterweight Title on May 20th

Hunter Vargas, 6-6 from Power MMA and Fitness in Phoenix, was bullied as a kid. His father wasn’t around very much due to his addictions, and that built up a lot of anger inside of Hunter.  When Hunter was 12 years old, his father decided to get clean, and he put Hunter into boxing. Since then, he has continued to box, trains some judo, jiu-jitsu and wrestled in high school. He started training in MMA his senior year of high school, and had his first fight when he was 18. He has worked in the restaurant industry, as well as the sales industry, so he hopes to possibly open his own restaurant in the future. When he stops fighting, he would like to run his own MMA gym in Ohio, where he is from originally. MMA Gyms are a little harder to find there currently. He has 3 beautiful children, works full time and trains as much as possible. He would someday like to fight full time as a professional and make a living doing that. His ultimate dream is to fight for the UFC, with the aim being to debut for them by the time he is 28. It has been 2 years since his last fight, but at only 22 years old with 12 fights already, he is on the right track.

He takes on Ryan “Bam Bam” Connelly for the Tuff-N-Uff Welterweight title on May 20th at Mayhem in Mesquite XI.  Get your tickets NOW starting at just $11!
